Lex. Oh Lex. She is SO SMART. She is helpful (when she wants to be) and she loves to bake and she loves music like her daddy. She loves to go outside and loves to be reckless and scare me to death. The day her dad and I finally get married, she will officially be my stepdaughter. We have been together for 7 1/2 years now, so I consider her one of my children. Sometimes I think I try too hard when it comes to her because she is the little girl I never had. I love to buy girly clothes and girly shoes and girly stuff and I drive her NUTS. I want to dress her up and do girl stuff with her but in September she will officially be a teenager and I am just not "cool". Oh well, I try.

My Joe. He will be 4 next month. He has come so far. He LOVES Nascar and knows which cars are which. You can see by his shirt and cap that he loves the M&Ms racing team. He has the little car that goes with this outfit. He is becoming quite bossy lately and loves to tell Jacob what to do. His new thing is when Jacob starts whining and complaining he puts his finger up over his face and says "BE QUIET!!" hehe...

Even tho he's becoming a big boy he still loves to cuddle and says he's "Mommy's boy". Where has the time gone. I swear just yesterday we were just bringing him home from the hospital, all tiny and frail and now it takes everything I have to stop him from taking flying leaps down the stairs.

Jacob, 10

Jacob is my sensitive soul. He loves deeply and is my emotional child. He has such a love of animals and people. He is in 5th grade this year...but only for 2 more months. My first child and already so grown up. He likes girls now too. His current love, Samantha is in 5th grade with him. Blonde with blue eyes. Lord help us.

In May he will be graduating from 5th grade and going to middle school. They will be holding a 5th grade graduation at school for the kids.

Middle School. WOW. That means in 3 years he will be in High School. NOOOOOOOOO...I'm not ready for that! He swears he will be living with Mommy with his wife and all of his kids. *hmph* Hope he goes to college and makes lots of money to help support all this family he intends to have lol. Right now his plans are being a lawyer, a vet, an author and an artist. Boy oh boy.

Bad Bad Blogger...

Wow it's been since August since I have blogged. A lot has gone on since I started this blog. First, we had to move. The house we were living in had a lot of problems and so it was best that we relocate. It must of been meant to be because we have found the PERFECT house. It was something we could afford and BEAUTIFUL at the same time! I just love it. The kids love it. Nate loves it - so it is perfect.

Today

Today is the first day of my new blog. I have been an avid reader of many blogs and love the way that so many moms write about their children and their pride of their kids. My boys - they are the light of my life - my true loves. I hope when they are older and read this they are proud of their Mom...the sacrifices...the tears...and the happy times. I love you Jacob & Joe....
